For Young Professionals
You’ve finished your formal education and found a great job, but the learning is far from over. These practical, interactive seminars have been designed to help you develop the skills you’ll need to move from the cubicle to the boardroom with ease.
Understanding the Unwritten Rules
They didn’t teach you about them at university and there’s no book you can read to get up to speed. But you know they exist, unwritten rules that you learn about only when you break them! In this session you’ll:
•
Learn how each organization has its own set of unwritten rules, a corporate
code of conduct that, when followed, will fast track your career
• Discover the most common unwritten rules
• Create a plan for determining what rules are most important at your
place of work
Building Self Confidence
Well meaning but overprotective parents, demanding teachers, advertisements that portray an unrealistic ideal and peer pressure all chip away at your personal sense of self worth. Reacting from a place of low self confidence can result in tears of frustration, inappropriately expressed anger, and loss of the respect of others. If you are unsure of your unique skills, sensitive to criticism, or generally feel not quite as good as others, this session is for you. You’ll:
•
Discover the core values that define you
• Recognize the difference between skill and talent
• Create a plan for using your talents to increase your confidence and
personal satisfaction
